The Lakeshore High School Corale is featured below.
Greg Longpre Jr. introduced Kelly Westgate, director of the Lakeshore High
School Chorale. The definition of Chorale is a group of singers
specializing in church music. And a Chorale is defined as a hymn with
strong harmonization. The Lakeshore Chorale didn't specialize in church
music but it did sing with strong harmonization and the students were very
good. Kelly explained that the Chorale is one of several choir groups at
Lakeshore. In fact there are 100 students involved in choir at the High
School and 100 more at the Middle School. If you attended the meeting you
were lucky to hear a wonderful program. At the end of the performance
(bottom row two photos) Greg
presented Kelly with a Kiwanis check in the amount of $1,000 for their music
scholarship program.
As always, thanks to Ken McKeown for taking some really wonderful photos at the
meeting!
